Soleil Moon Frye captivated audiences when she starred as Penelope ‘Punky’ Brewster in the hit NBC sitcom ‘Punky Brewster.” At just seven years of age, the California native landed the role of the precocious young girl who steals the heart of her foster father, played by George Gaines. And she stole our hearts as well! The show ran from September 16, 1984, to March 9, 1986 and even spawned a Saturday morning cartoon called ‘It’s Punky Brewster!’

In the 90s, after a few failed pilots and hosting gigs, the actress then turned her sights to guest appearances on a variety of shows including ‘The Wonder Years,’ ‘Saved by the Bell,’ and ‘Friends.’ Her next big role came as character Roxie King in the last few seasons of ‘Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.’

More recently, Soleil has been focused on raising her four children, which she shares with her ex-husband, television producer Jason Goldberg.
