He stars as Matt Walker in the new Netflix film ‘Otherhood,’ which also stars Angela Bassett, Patricia Arquette, and Felicity Huffman. He plays Angela’s son in ‘Otherhood.’ The film was released on Aug. 2. ‘Otherhood’ follows longtime friends Carol (Angela Bassett), Gillian (Patricia Arquette), and Helen (Felicity Huffman) who decide to drive to New York to reconnect with their adult sons, and in the process, they realize their sons are not the only ones whose lives need to change. Sinqua also stars as the legendary ‘Soul Train’ host Don Cornelius on the BET series ‘American Soul.’ The show was renewed for season 2.
