There has been more than one famous Selena to have graced the most magnificent stages across the world.
The first, Selena Quintanilla-Pérez (more popularly, and simply, known as Selena) was an American singer, songwriter, spokesperson, model, actress, and fashion designer. She was one of the most celebrated Mexican-American entertainers of the 20th century. Even if you weren’t alive (or talking and walking) during her era, chances are you still know (and may even be getting in all your feels to it like Gina Rodriguez in Someone Great) her 1995 hit song “Dreaming of You.”
The second, Selena Gomez (who you may be a little more familiar with, if not already obsessed with) is also quite the talent herself. The 27-year-old is a former Disney star and current recording artist with hits like “Bad Liar” and “Come & Get It.”
