Savannah May, 19, started out acting at the tender age of 4, but after landing roles in projects like School Of Rock, Disney’s Bizaardvark and Knight Squad, the young actress sat down during a photo shoot at HollywoodLife’s LA offices to discuss her career and her latest Lifetime project, The Secret Lives Of Cheerleaders, where she plays Ava, starring opposite Denise Richards!
“You get to see a lot of like frat houses and the football players hating each other, but you never really get to see the girls side of it all,” Savannah tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. “Ava, she’s the new girl, she’s had a really tough hard past and she’s trying to kind of start over and reinvent herself at this new school. She makes the cheer team and then the head cheerleader, Katrina, who’s queen bee and wants everything and everyone to love her. She starts to kind of fall on the popularity scale as Ava starts to rise and take her spot and that does not sit well with her.”
