Ryan is a beloved actor from Canada. His career started on ‘The Mickey Mouse Club’ on Disney Channel. He rose to fame thanks to the romance film ‘The Notebook’ which also starred Rachel McAdams. His other notable films include ‘Half Nelson,’ ‘Drive,’ ‘The Big Short,’ La La Land,’ ‘Blad Runner 2049,’ and ‘First Man.’ Ryan received Oscar nominations for Best Actor in ‘Half Nelson’ and ‘La La Land.’ Ryan is set to play Ken in the live-action ‘Barbie’ film oppposite Margot Robbie as his next major project.

Ryan is currently in a relationship with model and actress Eva Mendes and they have two children together. Their older daughter Esmeralda was born in 2014 and their younger daughter Amanda was born in 2016.
