Ringo Starr — Ringo Starr is a rock and roll legend. The 81-year-old drummer first made his mark as a member of The Beatles, when their original drummer Pete Best was asked to leave the band in 1962. Ringo was the band’s drummer until they split up in 1970. During his time as a Beatle, Ringo also sang lead vocals on a handful of songs, including classic tracks like ‘Yellow Submarine’ and ‘With A Little Help From My Friends.’ He also notably wrote the songs ‘Octopus’s Garden’ and ‘Don’t Pass Me By.’ After the band broke up, Ringo began a solo career, which included hits like ‘You’re Sixteen’ and ‘It Don’t Come Easy.’

Ringo is also an actor, having appeared in Beatles movies like ‘Help,’ but he also made appearances in other films like 1971’s ‘200 Motels’ and a 1985 adaptation of ‘Alice And Wonderland.’ Ringo was also the narrator on the series ‘Thomas And Friends.’
