‘On The Basis Of Sex’ Movie — ‘On The Basis Of Sex’ is the origin story of the legendary U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The film is inspired by Ruth’s incredible life and depicts her early years as a then-struggling attorney and new mother facing adversity in her fight for equal rights. When Ruth takes on a ground-breaking case, she knows the outcome could alter the courts’ view of gender discrimination. Stronger together, Ruth teams up with her husband, Martin Ginsburg, to fight for the case that catapults her to become one of the most important public figures of our time. Ruth and Martin, who were married for 56 long years, are played by Oscar nominee Felicity Jones and Armie Hammer. The movie, directed by Mimi Leder and also starring Justin Theroux and Cailee Spaeny, will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital on April 9.
