Their partnership started on the dance floor and led them all the way down the wedding aisle. Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev’s romance wasn’t instant, though. The WWE Diva and Dancing With the Stars pro met in 2017 when she appeared in the 25th season of the competition. Though they were eliminated early on, their connection was undeniable.
Still, the timing wasn’t right. At the time, Nikki was engaged to fellow WWE superstar John Cena, but they would break off their engagement weeks before their 2018 wedding was scheduled. In January 2019, she reconnected with Artem for a casual lunch. Noticing the chemistry was still there, they began dating. Things went so well, Artem popped the question during a trip to France in November 2019. Shortly afterward, Nikki found out she was pregnant (at the same time her twin sister, Brie Bella, also learned she was expecting.) Nikki gave birth to their son, Matteo, on July 31, 2020. In August 2022, Nikki and Artem finally tied the knot in a secret wedding in Paris.
