Niecy is best known as a comedian and actress, host and more. She first started acting when she starred in the 1995 film ‘Boys on the Side’ and went on to do many more things, including a role on ‘Reno 911!’ from 2003 until 2009, ‘Getting On’ from 2013 until 2015, and ‘The Soul Man’ from 2012 until 2016.
She also hosted the Style Network’s ‘Clean House’ from 2003 until 2010, for which she won an Emmy Award. Niecy also won another Emmy Award and a Critics’ Choice Television Award. In 2018, she received a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame, proving the big impact she’s made in the entertainment industry.
