Marquise Goodwin is an American football wide receiver and kick returner for the San Francisco 49ers. He began his football career at the Texas Longhorns football program (which is the intercollegiate team representing the University of Texas at Austin) under an athletic scholarship. Here, he played for coach Mack Brown’s Texas Longhorns football team from the year 2009 to 2012. One year later, he was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the third round with the 78th pick of the 2013 NFL Draft.
The National Football League (NFL) player also happens to be quite the long jumper and sprinter as well, who has been a top competitor in the 60 meters and 100 meters dashes, along with the triple jump. In 2015, he competed in the Pan American Games,, where he won silver in track and field. Furthermore, Goodwin has successfully represented the United States at the 2008 IAAF World junior championships, the 2011 World University games, the 2011 IAAF World Championships, and the 2012 Summer Olympics.
