All eyes have been on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ever since they announced their engagement on Nov. 27, 2017. They held a public wedding for all the world to see on May 19, 2018 at St. George’s Chapel, at Windsor Castle and Meghan, a former actress from Los Angeles, CA, officially became the Duchess of Sussex.

The lovebirds settled in at Nottingham Cottage in London, located on the grounds of Kensington Palace, and started to participate in many public events as part of their royal duties soon after their marriage. They later moved to Frogmore Cottage in the Home Park of Windsor Castle.

Just under a year after their wedding, Meghan gave birth to their first child, a son they named Archie Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6, 2019.

On Jan. 8, 2020, Meghan and Harry announced that they were stepping back as ‘senior members of the royal family and working to become financially independent while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.’ They also announced this will mean they will divide their time between the United Kingdom and North America.
