‘Mayor of Kingstown’ is a new Paramount+ series from the mind of ‘Yellowstone’ co-creator Taylor Sheridan. The series follows the powerful McLusky family. They are ‘power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry.’ The all-star cast includes ‘Hawkeye’ star Jeremy Renner, Dianne Wiest, Hugh Dillon, Kyle Chandler, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird, Tobi Bamtefa, Derek Webster, Hamish Allan-Headley, Pha’rez Lass, and Aidan Gillen.
After its series premiere on November 14, the show became the #1original scripted drama on Paramount+ since its rebrand. The show was also cable’s biggest scripted premiere since ‘Yellowstone’ in June 2018 with 2.6 million total viewers. ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ had a linear premiere as well as a streaming launch.
