Max Landis At Comic-Con — Max Landis works as a screenwriter, producer, director and comic book writer. His father is John Landis, a director who worked on films like ‘National Lampoon’s Animal House,’ ‘Coming To America,’ ‘Beverly Hills Cop III’ and more. Max began writing screenplays when he was just a teenager, and continued to write shorts during his time at the University of Miami. His big break was with his script for Chronicle, which was released in Feb. 2012 to critical acclaim. He made his directorial debut on ‘Me Him Her,’ which was released in 2016.

Despite his success, Max has been the subject of shocking allegations from women in the industry. In Dec. 2017, a former co-worker named Anna Akana came forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct. Various other women used social media to make similar allegations against the director. In 2019, the claims re-surfaced when his ex, Whitney Moore, took to Twitter to accuse Max of doing ‘horrific’ things to her. Click through the gallery to see more photos of Max.
