H. Maxwell Joseph, more popularly known as Max Joseph, is an American filmmaker and television host. The New York City native gained popularity with the premiere of ‘Catfish: The TV Show’ on November 12, 2012. He co-hosted the MTV television series with American TV producer Nev Schulman. Together, Max and Nev have gone through eight seasons of exploring truths and lies of the online dating scene.
However, Max was absent from Catfish for season 4 due to the making of his debut feature film ‘We Are Your Friends,’ which starred Zac Efron.
Max has also directed several films including ‘12 Years of DFA: Too Old To Be New,’ ‘Too New To Be Classic,’ ‘Garden of Eden,’ and ‘Let’s Harvest the Organs of Death Row Inmates.’
When he is not busy entertaining people on TV or making cool films for the world to see, he is enjoying quality time with his wife Priscila Joseph, who he met via Instagram and has been with since 2015.
