Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon’s family pose together — Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon welcomed twins three years after marrying in April 2008: Moroccan and Monroe (‘Roc and Roe’). AKA, ‘Dem Babies,’ as Mariah affectionately calls her son and daughter. The twins entered the world listening to one of Mariah’s many No. 1 hits from day one. ‘I made a playlist. They came out to ‘Fantasy,’ the live version from Madison Square Garden with the applause. I wanted them to feel the applause when they were first born,’ Mariah told co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest during a Nov. 2018 appearance on their talk show. A smart choice from Mimi, as her brood turned out to be musically inclined, just like their mother and father. They were already singing along to ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ by age seven, and at age eight, Moroccan was DJ’ing his own birthday party!

Even though Mariah and Nick went on to split in 2014 and finalize their divorce in 2016, they have remained a solid co-parenting unit. The family even reunited for the twins’ eighth birthday party in April 2019!
