Lindsey Stirling — Photos Of The Violinist — Lindsey Stirling is an American violinist, singer and songwriter. She rose to fame after she was a quarter-finalist on season five of America’s Got Talent, where she was described as a “hip hop violinist.” Lindsey is well-known for dancing while playing her violin, something the judges on America’s Got Talent admired, but eventually told her that her act wasn’t “for Las Vegas.” After being kicked off the show, Lindsey’s YouTube channel rose in popularity and she began collaborating with artists like John Legend, Pentatonix, Josh Groban and Celine Dion. She was announced that she would be a celebrity dancer on Season 25 of Dancing With The Stars, and was a clear frontrunner from the beginning with her partner Mark Ballas. Lindsey went on to get second c=place, losing to Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess in a shocking decision.
