Michael Strahan Goes to Kelly Ripa’s Walk of Fame Ceremony — Michael Strahan and Kelly Ripa were the unlikely duo that came together in 2011, when the former NFL star was tapped to co-host Live! With Kelly and Michael following Regis Philbin’s departure. They happily did the show for four years before Michael shocked viewers, and Kelly, by announcing on air that he’d be leaving for Good Morning America. Kelly had only found out right before they went onstage. It didn’t end well, with Kelly going on an unplanned break, then announcing Michael would be leaving in May, not September. Michael said in later interviews that there was trouble between them behind the scenes.

Here, Michael is seen supporting Kelly during the ceremony honoring his Live! co-host with her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in 2015.
