Joni Mitchell, born November 7, 1943, is a Canadian singer-songwriter. Her music incorporates genres of pop, folk, rock and jazz. As her career has grown, Joni has become a revered voice in the music industry.
Joni has released a total of 19 albums between 1968-2007. Some of her biggest hit songs include ‘Both Sides, Now,’ ‘A Case of You,’ ‘Big Yellow Taxi,’ ‘Help Me,’ and more. She has gone on to influence a number of artists to date, and earned the respect of her fellow musicians, as well.
Joni has been the recipient of a number of awards and honors throughout her life. Joni has won eight Grammy Awards among 16 nominations. She has also won three Juno Awards and the ASCAP Pop Award.
