Budden is definitely a man who wears many hats. We mean, yes, the style icon does have a wide assortment of hats ranging from tweed newsboy flat caps to designer suede fedoras, but he also does have quite the variety of jobs on his resume.
To this day, he has made moves in reality TV, broadcasting, rapping, and cultural criticism. He primarily gained a fan base when he released his 2003 hit single “Pump It Up.” He thrived in the rap game as a member of supergroup Slaughterhouse, until deciding to retire in 2018.
Today, he is known as the “Howard Stern of Hip-Hop” and hosts The Joe Budden Podcast, a bi-weekly podcast on Spotify and YouTube that covers various topics in music and sports. He of course, has a reputation for saying some rather controversial things and starting up rap beefs on the podcast.
