The French singer, who grew up in Abu Dhabi, the Congo-Brazzabille, and Dubai, broke out in 2015 with her ‘Hope’ EP. The single, ‘Come,’ blew up and a year after release, it was certified Diamond. She released her debut album, ‘Zanaka,’ in November 2015. It went Platinum three-times in France by January 2017. The success of this release saw her perform all over the globe, including a 2017 appearance on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.’ She rleased her second studio album, ‘Souldier,’ in August 2018. It went to No. 1 in France, and was certified platinum afterward. The singer, who combines the music influences of all the places where she grew up into a distinctive sound, was given a high honor in 2019: she was picked to perform at the Opening Ceremony of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
