Jacquees — Rodriquez Jacquees Broadnax, better known mononymously as Jacquees, is an American singer-songwriter. The Decatur, Georgia native gained a platform when he signed a recording contract with Cash Money Records in 2014. (Yes, Cash Money Records, the one that Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Drake were all once signed under as well) Earlier on, Jacquees primarily did rap music and landed some exposure working on projects like “Krazy” with Atlanta rapper T.I.

He then went on to create R&B music and started coming out with hit singles like “Come Thru,” “ “B.E.D.” and “You.” 2016 single “B.E.D.” became so popular, it was on the Billboard charts for 7 weeks straight. He has gotten even more recognition for his work and has been nominated for awards like the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Award for R&B Song of the Year.
