‘House Of The Dragon’ Photos — ‘Game of Thrones’ fans, there’s a prequel on the way. ‘House of the Dragon’ is currently filming and will premiere in 2022. The series revolves around House Targaryen and is set 300 years before the events of ‘Game of Thrones.’ The quest for power is still at an all-time high. The series will feature the Dance of the Dragons, the civil war that took place during Targaryen rule. The first photos from ‘House of the Dragon’ were released on May 5, 2021. The pictures gave us a first glimpse at the new cast. Matt Smith will star as Prince Daemon Targaryen. His co-stars include Emma D’Archy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, Steve Toussaint as Lord Corylys Velaryon, Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower, Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower, and Paddy Considine as King Viserys Targaryen.
