Helen McCrory and Damian Lewis married in 2007. Over the next fourteen years of wedded bliss, the acting couple would celebrate each other’s triumphs, comfort them in their tragedies, and build a life together. The two welcomed a daughter in 2006, Manon. A year later, their family grew by one more, when Helen gave birth to her and Damien’s son, Gulliver. The family lived together at homes in Tufnell Park in North London, and near Sudbury, Suffolk.
Helen was best known for her roles on ‘Peaky Blinders,’ playing Aunt Polly/Polly Gray on the beloved period drama, and for bringing Narcissa Malfoy to life in the final three ‘Harry Potter’ films. Damian is best known for his role in the Showtime series ‘Homeland,’ as well as his part in HBO’s miniseries, ‘Band of Brothers,’ and his role as Steve McQueen in 2019’s ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.’
Sadly, Helen passed away in April 2021 after a battle with cancer.
