‘Good Morning America’ Hosts: Photos Of The Anchors — Good Morning America has been a popular morning news program in the United States for decades. The show first hit screens in 1975, long before Amy Robach, Robin Roberts, and more became some of our favorite hosts. GMA is a news show that premieres only on the ABC Network, and frequently receives millions of viewers each day.

Some of the current and more recent hosts and anchors include Robin, George Stephanopoulos, Michael Strahan, Amy, Lara Spencer, and Ginger Zee. The show’s original creators are Donald L. Perris, William F. Baker, and Roone Arledge.

Currently, the most senior anchor is Robin, who has been on the show since 2005. George is another senior reporter on GMA, as he joined in 2009. T.J. Holmes

T.J. Holmes — T.J Holmes first joined the ABC Network in 2014, as a news correspondent and anchor. But it wasn’t until 2020 that he joined GMA3 alongside Amy Robach. Prior to his GMA news duties, he had a brief role at CNN, where he gained prominence. T.J. famously interviewed Alex Trebek following his pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

Amy Robach

Amy Robach — Amy Robach has been with ABC News since 2012, and later, in 2014, became a breaking news anchor for GMA3 in 2014. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1995. where she studied journalism and communication. Amy is married to Melrose Place star Andrew Shue, and together they have a blended family of five children.

Robin Roberts

Robin Roberts — Robin Roberts is one of GMA‘s more senior anchors, as she joined the program in 2005. The impressive journalist also is one of the first openly LGBT women and women of color to host the Jeopardy! game show. One of Robin’s most memorable moments on the show includes when she came out on TV for the first time.

“I’m going to tell you all this, and you know because you’ve had a front-row seat to the tumultuous year I’ve had,” Robin said, in part, at the time. “I have never been happier or healthier than I am right now.”

Michael Strahan

Michael Strahan — Michael Strahan is one of GMA‘s most loved anchors. He joined the hit news program in 2016 and has been a huge success since. Prior to his career as a journalist, Michael spent his time on the football field as a professional football player. The former athlete played for the New York Giants as a player in the NFL.

George Stephanopoulos

George Stephanopoulos — George Stephanopoulos is another impressive anchor on GMA, and he joined the show in 2009. The successful newsman has worked many important jobs prior to this, including working as the White House Communications Director in 1993. His other high-office roles included being the White House Press Secretary in 1993, and being the Senior Advisor to the President of the United States from 1993 to 1996. These days, viewers can catch him in a more relaxed role on GMA.
