Clooney won an Oscar for his acting talent in 2005’s thriller ‘Syriana,’ where he gained 35 pounds to his hunky frame to play a CIA operative. He then transitioned into writing screenplays and directing films, making him a true triple threat and one of the most powerful and respected talents in Hollywoodl. The confirmed bachelor finally gave up his single ways on September 27, 2014, when he married London-based attorney Amal Alamuddin. The couple welcomed twins — a boy and a girl — in June 2017. After several years away from Hollywood to raise his family, Clooney is returning to screens with Netflix’s sci-fi thriller ‘The Midnight Sky,’ where he plays a cancer stricken scientist alone in the Arctic after a global apocalypse trying to warn incoming astronauts of Earth’s fate.
