Flo Rida (born Tramar Lacel Dillard on September 16, 1979) is an American rapper, who is best known for his 2007 breakout single, “Low,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and went to No. 1 in countries around the world. His debut album, 2008’s ‘Mail On Sunday,’ hit No. 4 on the Billboard 200. In 2008, he repeated his ‘Low’ success again with the single ‘Right Round,’ featuring Kesha. The lead track off his ‘R.O.O.T.S’ record went platinum seven-times, a magnificent feat (though, ‘Low’ has since been certified Diamond.’ Flo Rida would also find success with his 2012 album, ‘Wild Ones.’ The lead singles, ‘Good Feeling’ and the title track were Top 5 hits. ‘Whistle,’ released in 2012, also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. However, this marked the pinnacle of his success. Subsequent releases failed to chart as high. In 2023, he released “High Heels,” a collab with Walker Hayes, off a forthcoming album.
