Father of the Bride is the iconic comedy from 1991 starring Steve Martin. The film follows George Banks, a devoted father who has a total psychological crisis when he finds out that his daughter, Annie (Kimberly Williams-Paisley), is engaged. He won’t accept that his little girl is all grown up, and getting married. Throughout the film, hijinks ensue as he tries everything in his power to break Annie and her fiancé, Bryan McKenzie (George Newbern) up. Eventually, he comes to accept that he just has to let his daughter go and live her own life.
