E’Dena Hines: Photos oF Morgan Freeman Step-granddaughter — E’Dena Hines, born March 4, 1982, was the step-granddaughter of Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman. E’Dena was absolutely beloved by her step-grandfather, attending a number of events with the veteran actor for premieres and more.

E’Dena tragically died on August 16, 2015. She was brutally stabbed by her former boyfriend, Lama Davenport, outside of her apartment in Washington Heights, New York. Morgan mourned the loss of his step-granddaughter, as Lamar was convicted of her manslaughter on May 7, 2018. Through this gallery, we look back on happier times shared by E’Dena and Morgan.
