Dr. Leana Wen – who is a familiar face on cable news networks like CNN and MSNBC – is Baltimore’s former health commissioner. A respected expert, as of 2020 she is also a public health professor at Washington, D.C.’s George Washington University, as well as an emergency physician. In 2019 the mom-of-two was named one of ‘TIME’ magazine’s 100 Most Influential People. She was also once the President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, making her the first physician to lead the organization in nearly 50 years.
