The new season of ‘Dirty John’ will premiere June 2. ‘Dirty John: The Betty Broderick Story’ is the second installment of the ‘Dirty John’ anthology series and follows the story of Betty and Dan Broderick. Their story that spans the 1960s to the ’80s, through the breakdown of a marriage that Oprah deemed one of ‘America’s messiest divorces’ even before it ended in double homicide. Betty ended up killing her ex-husband and his second wife, Linda, in 1989. She is currently in prison after being convicted of two counts of second-degree murder and sentenced to 32 years to life in prison. Amanda Peet stars as Betty Broderick, and Christian Slater stars as Dan Broderick. The series also stars Rachel Keller as Linda, Lily Donoghue as Tracy Broderick, Chris Mason as young Dan, and Tiera Skovbye as young Betty.
