Norman Reedus and longtime partner Diane Kruger have been quietly dating since March 2017, but have opted to keep their relationship and their little one out of the spotlight. While they’ll sometimes show up to events together and pose on the red carpet, they tend to lay low when they’re not promoting movies or out on set. They welcomed a daughter in late 2018 and have kept photos of her face and her name private since.

Although they’ll sometimes share sweet pics of the tot on social media, they always only show the back of her. The casual couple is able to fly under the radar during their walks around New York, where most people pay no mind to the stars.

Here, Norman Reedus and Diane Kruger bundled up as they push their daughter around the Big Apple in Nov. 2018. It was the couple’s first sighting as a family of three.

Diane, who was born in Germany, added, “And secondly, she is an innocent, young, vulnerable baby and I think I just don’t understand why America doesn’t have better laws for children.”

He went on to talk about his connection with son Mingus, born in 1999. “Mostly, I’m really enjoying being a father. I love that. I run toward that every opportunity I can get. I spent all day yesterday on top of the Empire State Building [with my son, Mingus]. They gave us a little tour at the very tip-top, which was actually–to go back to your other question—terrifying.”
