The Doctor married the daughter of The Doctor — and that’s not nearly as tricky as the plot of a ‘Doctor Who’ episode. For over a decade, David Tennant and Georgia Moffett have been married, so get to know more about them.

David Tennant and Georgia Moffett have been happily married since 2011. The couple first met on the set of Doctor Who in 2008, when she portrayed the daughter of David’s character, The Doctor, in an episode entitled “The Doctor’s Daughter.” Georgia is actually the daughter of a different Doctor, specifically Peter Davison, the actor who portrayed the fifth incarnation of The Doctor on Doctor Who. Since falling in love, the couple has started a family, and are now parents to five children — whom they keep out of the spotlight. However, David and Georgia thrust their personal lives — or a fictionalized version of such — in the COVID-19 production, Staged. The two starred alongside each other during the COVID lockdown months, and are set to appear alongside each other again in a new series, Hide.
