Rihanna Arrives At Crop Over Festival 2019 In Barbados — Superstar Rihanna turjed heads as she arrived for the start of Barbados’ Crop Over Festival in a pink feathered costume on Aug. 5, 2019. The stunning outfit ensured all eyes were on the superstar diva as she rolled up for the festivities on Monday. Glittering silver and pink heels completed Rihanna’s look, while green eye-shadow and red lipstick gave an already bold look an additional splash of color. Crop Over is the highlight of Barbados’ summer, with the three month long extravaganza starting in May and culminating on Grand Kadooment Day on August 5. The festival celebrates the wrap up of sugar cane season; islanders embrace all that is Bajan, with dusk till dawn parties, heart pounding entertainment, arts and crafts markets and culture and heritage tours. Despite moving to America in 2005, Rihanna has been a regular presence at the event, with the singer rarely missing the annual celebration.
