Carrie Underwood — The 2022 Country Music Association Awards took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Nov. 9, 2022. All of the biggest stars in country music stepped onto the red carpet before the show to show off their incredible looks for the evening. Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning teamed up to host the show together for the very first time in 2022, and there were tons of familiar faces in attendance.

Newcomer Lainey Wilson was the most nominated honoree of the night, with six nominations at the show. She was followed close behind by Carly Pearce, Ashley McBryde and Chris Stapleton, who had five each. In addition to the awards, the show was also host to some incredible performances, including a tribute to the late Loretta Lynn, and a special performance in honor of Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Alan Jackson.
