Caroline received national exposure when she started impressing tennis fans by winning various titles throughout her career, including 30 WTA singles titles. She won six of them in 2010 & again in 2011, making her the tennis player with the most WTA singles wins in a year at the time. She also impressed as a runner-up in the 2009 US Open, the 2010 WTA Tour Championships, and the 2014 US Open. In 2006, she won the Wimbeldon girls’ singles title and in 2017, she won the WTA Finals.
She started playing tennis as a child in Denmark with her father, Piotr, serving as her first coach. He continued to be her primary coach throughout her career. She has notably competed against many other world famous pro tennis players, including Serena Williams and Kim Clijsters.
