Cam’ron, born Cameron Ezike Giles on February 4, 1976 in Harlem, is a rapper and recording artist. Cam’ron was raised by a single dmother, Fredericka Giles and attended the Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics where he met and quickly became friends with Mason “Mase” Betha and Jim Jones. Cam’ron was signed to Untertainment label, which was distributed by Epidc Records. In May 1998, Cam’ron attracted a slew of attention with his hit “Pull It.” He also worked with Usher during the start of his career in the late ‘90s. Since then, Cam’ron has gone on to work with contemporaries like Wiz Khalifa and was featured on Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” in the early 2010s. A slew of EPs and mixtapes followed, as Cam’ron continued his career heading into the 2020s.
