The first time most of you probably heard of Brett Kavanaugh was back in July 2018 when he was nominated by Donald Trump to fill a position (formerly held by Associate Justice Anthony) on the U.S. Supreme Court.
And if you’ve been keeping up with the news, then you know that that was certainly not the last time his name made major headlines around the world.
The lawyer became quite the hot topic, not for his political conduct, but rather for his sexual conduct… or misconduct, should we say. Around the time of his Supreme Court nomination, there was also mass speculation regarding sexual misconduct allegations made against him that date all the way back to his years in high school and college.
53-year-old Christine Blasey Ford (research psychologist at the Stanford University School of Medicine) was one of the first women to speak out against Kavanaugh when she sent a confidential letter to Senator Dianne Feinstein detailing the sexual assault that took place more than three decades ago when the two attended private school together in suburban Maryland.
