Billy is best known as a country singer. One of his biggest and most popular songs is ‘Achy Breaky Heart.’ It topped the country music charts and became his signature tune. The music video for the song caused line dancing to rise in popularity and country music fans everywhere would do the moves at every big event with a dance floor.

In addition to Billy, his children have gone on to rise in fame with their own music careers. His daughter Miley Cyrus is one of the biggest singers of her generation and has often cited her father as an inspiration. She’s also worked as an actress on the show ‘Hannah Montana’ and other television shows and films over the years. Billy’s other daughter, Noah Cyrus, has also worked as a singer and actress. Her biggest roles include the voice of the title character in the English version of ‘Ponyo’ and roles on ‘Hannah Montana’ and ‘Doc.’
