Bijou Phillips was on the cover of Interview magazine at the tender age of 13. Then, not too long after, she made an appearance on Vogue magazine (only one of the top magazines in the world). She then became an image model for Calvin Klein (only one of the top designers in the world) and appeared in several of the designer’s advertising campaigns.
Though, after some time, she expressed distaste in the modeling business (or at least distaste in having to wear underwear as a young teen in modeling campaigns) and decided to pursue her other talents.
In addition to modeling, Bijou Phillips is also an American actress and singer. She’s been in major films, such as ‘Black and White’ (1999), ‘Almost Famous’ (2000), ‘Bully’ (2001), ‘The Door in the Floor’ (2004), and ‘Hostel: Part II’ (2007).
