BET Awards 2022 — The 2022 BET Awards took place on June 26 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The show, which was hosted by Taraji P. Henson, kicked off with a red carpet, where all the stars walked to show off their outfits for the big night. Some of the celebrities in attendance included Lizzo, Lil Kim, Mary J. Blige and Diddy, who was the show’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.

One of the first stars to hit the red carpet was Lizzo, who was a performer at the show. She wore a sparkly black dress with feathered outlining. The ensemble featured a leg slit up one side, and Lizzo completed her look with a slicked back hairstyle, as well. She waved to the crowd as she posed for photographs on the red carpet while heading into the ceremony.
