‘Below Deck Down Under’ Cast — Photos — ‘Below Deck Down Under’ is the latest show in the ‘Below Deck’ franchise. The series is set against the stunning backdrop of the tropical Whitsunday Islands and the world-famous Great Barrier Reef in northeastern Australia. ‘Below Deck Down Under’ explores the complex, often explosive dynamics of the crew and a rotating group of demanding charter guests on M/Y Thalassa.

This season, Captain Jason Chambers is joined by a familiar face, fan-favorite Aesha Scott as Chief Stew, along with newcomers Chef Ryan McKeown and Bosun Jamie Sayed. Stews Tumi Mhlongo and Magda Ziomek are also on board with deckhands Culver Bradbury, Brittini Burton, and Benny Crawley.

Setting the tone for the entire crew, the youthful, charming new captain has a hands-on leadership approach and will do whatever it takes to make sure the guests have an unforgettable vacation, including mesmerizing under-water excursions like scuba diving, snorkeling, and some close encounters with marine life. Though the dynamics onboard are initially smooth sailing, a boatload of problems bubble up when the chef immediately falls out of sync with the chief stew. The deck team also hits rocky waters when the Bosun’s firm management style is called into question by a free-spirited team member with an aversion to rules. Tumi Mhlongo

Tumi Mhlongo — Tumi Mhlongo is a stewardess originally from South Africa. She previously worked in hospitality before joining the yachting industry by starting an Instagram page during lockdown showing off tablescapes.

Ryan Mckeown — Ryan Mckeown is a chef from Philadelphia. He discovered his love of cooking by working in his father’s pizzerias.

Magda Ziomek

Magda Ziomek — Magda Ziomek is a stewardess who was born and raised in Poland. She found herself drawn to the yachting industry while on vacation in Italy. She is a professional model and has been yachting on and off for three years.

Jamie Sayed

Jamie Sayed — Jamie Sayed is this season’s bosun. He’s originally from Gold Coast, Australia, and has been working in the yachting industry since 2017.

Culver Bradbury

Culver Bradbury — Culver Bradbury is a deckhand who was born and raised in Maryland. He has spent most of his yachting career working as a deckhand and personal trainer aboard a 95-meter private/charter super yacht.

Brittini Burton — Brittini Burton is a deckhand who was born in Michigan. She has been in the yachting industry since 2017.
