Amybeth McNulty — The Irish-Canadian actress is still just starting off her acting career, but it has definitely been pretty successful so far.

The 18 year old is best known for her role in the CBC/Netflix drama series Anne with an E, based on the 1908 novel Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. In 2017 McNulty landed the lead role of Anne Shirley, who becomes an orphan at the tender age of three months when her parents die of typhoid fever. Anne eventually finds a home with the Hammond family, but not a good one sadly, as she is treated like a servant.

The actress’ latest thriller project will be a little different from Anne with an E. It will be called Maternal (directed by Megan Follows) and is about a 16-year-old named Charlie McLeod who gets involved in a serious car accident, leaving her in a life or death situation.
