Susan Lucci as Erica Kane and Susan today — Susan Lucci is best know as the first lady of daytime TV. She played Erica Kane on All My Children from 1970-2011. At the show’s height in the early 1990s she was earning over $1million a year, a record for any soap star. Se was famous for being the perennial loser at the Daytime Emmys, being nominated a total of 21 times. It was until her 19th nomination in 1999 that she finally won Best Actress in a Daytime Series.

‘All My Children’ ran from 1970-2013. It created stars out of Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, Sarah Michele Gellar and more. We’ve got a look back at them on ‘AMC’ and how they’re doing today. As for Kelly and Mark, they’re doing GREAT! The pair fell in love on ‘AMC’ even before their characters were made a couple. They secretly eloped to Vegas in 1996 and went on to have three beautiful children. They’re still wildly in love today, and Kelly is one of daytime’s most popular and powerful figures, sitting at the helm of the ABC syndicated daytime talk show ‘Live! With Kelly and Ryan.’

Kelly Ripa — Kelly Ripa played Hayley Vaughan on the ABC sudser from 1990-2002. She then landed Kathie Lee Gifford’s seat next to Regis Philbin on the daytime talker Live! and since 2011 the show has been hers. She currently sits next to co-host Ryan Seacrest for ‘Live! With Kelly and Ryan.’

Mark Consuelos — Mark Consuelos joined ‘AMC’ as Mateo Santos in 1995. He and co-star Kelly Ripa quickly fell in love and eloped to Vegas in 1996. Today they have three beautiful kids and he stars in the CW’s ‘Riverdale.’

Eva LaRue — Eva LaRue played Dr. Maria Santos on and off throughout the ’90s on ‘AMC.’ She’s been a TV mainstay ever since in numerous guest recurring arcs and guest roles.
