‘After’ is based on Anna Todd’s best-selling novel which became a worldwide phenomenon on social storytelling platform Wattpad. ‘After’ was initially written as One Direction fan fiction, with Harry Styles as the central character. When ‘After’ was published as a book in 2014, Harry’s name was changed to Hardin Scott. The movie follows Tessa, played by Josephine Langford. Tessa is a dedicated student, dutiful daughter and loyal girlfriend to her high school sweetheart. She is entering her first semester in college. Her life changes forever when she meets the dark and mysterious Hardin Scott, played by Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, a magnetic rebel who makes her question all she thought she knew about herself and what she wants out of life.
