Eazy received the second one-on-one date of the night with Tayshia Adams on the Dec. 1 episode of The Bachelorette. Going into the date, where the pair went ghost hunting, Eazy was confident about where he stood with Tayshia. “I feel like I’ve known her forever and I just hope we take a monumental step in our relationship [tonight],” he said.
During the spooky portion of the date, Tayshia and Eazy had an amazing time, which put him at ease going into their nighttime dinner. “Going into tonight, I’m not scared of anything or expressing how I feel,” he admitted. “I think it’s the right time.” He added, “I know it’s been a short amount of time, but I feel like I’m falling in love with this girl. There are no rules and there is no guide to how it is. I’m never going to leave something unsaid. I just have to be real with what I’m feeling and be vulnerable and speak from the heart. I just can’t lie about how I’m feeling.”
As they shared an intimate conversation, Eazy opened up to Tayshia about these feelings. “You know when you know, you know? It’s real for me,” he explained. “I’ve known this past week. As much as I try to be macho and think it’s too soon or whatever, I honestly feel like I’m falling in love with you. And that’s real and so strong and so apparent. I can’t lie about it. I feel like, with love, there is no time or rules or boundaries or method. It just is and you know it. You feel it in your bones. I know it might seem weird but everything is so perfect.”
Unfortunately, Tayshia just wasn’t on the same page. She decided to eliminate Eazy on their date, rather than have him wait around until a rose ceremony. Before revealing that she would not be giving him the rose, she explained why she made this decision.
“You’ve been so good. You’re a good, solid man,” she assured him. “I feel like you deserve so much. And, unfortunately, I can’t give you this rose because I’m not where you are. I don’t know if I can get there. The last thing I want to do is have you continue to pour yourself out and then one day send you home at a rose ceremony where I can’t even explain to you how amazing you are. I’m sorry, Eazy.”
Eazy was obviously disappointed, and Tayshia was extremely upset. “I don’t like hurting people,” she said, while fighting back tears. However, there are still 11 other guys left, leaving Tayshia with even more important decisions to make. The journey continues next Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 8:00 p.m. on ABC.
