A live holiday gift segment went horribly wrong when FOX Anchor Lisa Breckenridge test drove a scooter in studio and ended up crashing! Watch the collision and read up on how Lisa is doing here!

Anything can happen on live TV and unfortunately FOX Anchor Lisa Breckenridge, 51, learned that lesson the hard way Tuesday Dec. 13 during a gift segment for “Good Day L.A” according to the TMZ video.  Lisa volunteered to hop onto a Route 66 Mobile Adventure Design Scooter for a short demo in studio. The “grand finale” of the bit went horribly array when the scooter, which can go up to 25 mph crashed into some equipment.

It looks like Lisa tried to regain control of the electric scooter, but there just wasn’t enough room for the speedy toy and she ended up clipping a yellow barricade before knocking over a TV. Ouch! “Oh dear. I’m good,” Lisa called out to her coworkers while everyone rushed over to check on her.

Despite a nasty fall, Lisa seemed to be okay and even posted a picture from the back of an ambulance featuring a rather good-looking paramedic. “Thanks for all your concerns a lil mishap on live tv,” the news caster wrote before adding she was,”at the hospital now getting checked out.” She then thanked the firefighter-paramedic posing in the picture with her. Aw!

The un-named fire fighter seemed to be getting a kick out of the flattering attention coming his way. “I ended up on the TMZ.com website from today’s events. They called me ‘hot.’ LOL,” he wrote beneath a screenshot of the article.
