We totally didn’t see this coming. Alberto del Rio, 39, and Paige, 24, may have just gotten engaged on Oct. 16, but now it looks like their’s a bump in the road for the happy couple. According to a report from website Pro Wrestling Sheet, Alberto is still married to his ex, Angela Velkei, with whom he shares three children. Alberto’s lawyer, Raymond Rafool, told the website that the ex-couple’s divorce is still far away, claiming that it’s “far from it at this stage.” He also added that, “Paige should watch carefully how Alberto is denying and treating his current wife and the mother of his children in this divorce. History repeats itself.” Ouch!

Adding to the drama is the fact that Paige’s dad, Ricky Knight, issued a statement on his Facebook saying he was totally against the engagement. “Putting this out there then saying no more about it to anyone, I am totally against my daughter marrying that man,” he wrote. “Statement over.” He deleted the post shortly after, but news of his disapproval had gone viral by then.

As we previously reported, Paige proposed to Alberto after his wrestling match at WWC Aniversario in Puerto Rico. She shocked everyone when she entered the ring suddenly and popped the big question — and he of course accepted. Even though the couple only began dating earlier this year, they have been inseparable ever since! While Alberto is still settling custody over his three children with Angela, Paige was previously engaged to Kevin Skaff.
