Prince May Have Been Dead For More Than 6 Hours Before His Body Was Found — Report

A shocking report has revealed that Prince may have been dead for more than six hours before his body was found at his Paisley Park estate. Click through to read the heartbreaking new details.

As if the story of Prince‘s death couldn’t get any worse, a new report from the Star Tribune as said that the singer had allegedly been dead for at least six hours before being found unresponsive by staff at Paisley Park on April 21. Prince may have been laying dead in the elevator at his home for much longer than anyone had imagined. Read more details after the jump.

An unnamed paramedic who responded to the 911 call at Prince’s estate reportedly told staff members and police that Prince may have been dead for upwards of six hours before his body was discovered, according to the Star Tribune. The paper provided no further details about how the paramedic allegedly came to that conclusion, or why the information didn’t come forward until now.

Police are currently investigating Prince’s death to determine if it was the result of a dangerous combination of prescription drugs. The authorities don’t have the results of Prince’s toxicology report yet, but they’re interested in determining if he was taking a toxic cocktail of Percocet and Buprenorphine, according to sources who spoke to TMZ.

Authorities are also curious as to why Dr. Micheal Schulenberg, Prince’s physician, was at his house when he died. If Percocet and Buprenorphine turn up on the toxicology report, they’ll be investigating him — as well as Andrew Cornfield, Prince’s rehab specialist. If either gave him that combination of drugs, it’s not going to be good.
