Tank and Becky still had beef which really surprised me. I missed a lot of this when I was in the house but I know Becky was very upset with Tank. And Becky doesn’t get mad at anyone. Seeing Tank hurt was heartbreaking, too. I just wanted to yell at the TV: “Hug it out!” I felt like this would really affect their challenge performance.
When I saw the 9th challenge, I immediately wished I would have made it out of the Pit. Josh and I would have freaking KILLED it. I absolutely LOVE puzzles and I did gymnastics and cheerleading my entire life, so my flexibility would have helped tremendously. Gary and Tessa had the best strategy in my opinion, and I just knew they were going to win! When I watched Gary’s foot hit that wire my heart fell in my stomach. NOOOOOOO! Like how freaking devastating. Ugh! Cody and Jorden looked like little ninjas out there and Cody’s expressions were priceless! They made very good time. I was pretty impressed.
Watching Riley and Becky and Tank and Katie was even more frustrating. I just wanted to jump through the screen and help them! I knew Jorden and Cody had won. Poor Tank and Katie. They just couldn’t get it together. I couldn’t believe they came in last. But I know one thing for certain… I felt bad for whoever Jorden and Cody chose to go against Katie in the Pit. I know I wouldn’t have wanted to because she’s a BEAST.
With Cody and Jorden in first place, and Tank and Katie in last, things got interesting. Tank was Jorden’s partner last season so they are very close. Cody and Jorden basically had to pick who they wanted to compete against in the end and whose dreams they were going to shatter. I know from experience that the 9th Pit is NO JOKE. It’s do or die and trust me… Going home knowing you were right there at the finale blows.
I hated this whole thing for Tank because everyone loves him! He seriously would have made it the entire season without going to the Pit and could have had a free ride to the finale if he hadn’t come in last. I think everyone was rooting for Tank and if we could pick one person besides ourselves to win, it would have been him.
I wasn’t surprised when they chose Gary and Tessa to go against Tank and Katie. A lot of people don’t know it, but Jorden and Riley actually dated in between seasons and I don’t think she would have ever sent him into the Pit. I don’t think it was the smartest decision, but hey, I got sent home so my opinion doesn’t really matter. Ha!
They got the same Pit that I was in against Tuff, and let me tell you… It’s the real deal. Katie and Tessa are both super tough and very competitive, so I knew it would be a battle. Katie looked like a freaking linebacker in this thing. She powered through Tessa like she wasn’t even there. It was insane! Tessa juked around and almost scored. You could tell they both really wanted this win. The last round was all on Katie and she prevailed! The first rookie girl to win a Pit all season and it was the most important one of all. Way to go, Katie!
Gary and Tank had my heart racing. I know Gary played semi-pro football, so Tank definitely had his work cut out for him. They were intense and both of them fought with so much heart. When Gary pulled out the win, I think everyone in America felt for Tank. My heart broke a little because we all love Tank so much. But you gotta hand it to Gary for his awesome win! He and Katie were the first rookies ALL SEASON to become a team! Talk about freaking crazy. I can’t even. You can’t make this stuff up!
Now I’m so ready for the finale, and I gotta say, I’m rooting for Becky and Riley all the way. If I had to be beat by anyone I hope it was because I was put out by the best. I can’t wait to see the final challenge and see which team dominates. It’s gonna be one heck of a show!
