“Leo said he’s seriously considering it,” OK! magazine reports after Leo was seen talking to Michael Keaton at a party after the 2016 Academy Awards. “The thought of all the cool gadgets, gunplay and chase scenes excites him, and at this point in his career, he’s ready to take a gamble.” A source close to Leo tells us that the report is not true.

Well, Leonardo would certainly make one sexy James Bond! The role is one of the most talked-about in Hollywood since Daniel Craig is stepping down as 007 after three films.

Daniel admitted that he would rather “slash my wrists” than do another Bond movie. “I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists,” he told Time Out London. “No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment.”

Leonardo just won his first Oscar for his role in The Revenant. We have to say, taking on James Bond would be a fun challenge for Leo. And it’s not like he hasn’t taken on a famous role before! Remember The Great Gatsby?

Leonardo only has one movie lined up post-The Revenant, and that’s Conquest. So he totally has more than enough time to tackle the role of James Bond if he wants to!
